The 'rents are back, no more fun food shopping for me and glory of using minimal supplies to make epic meals. Oh well, at least I don't have to clean up after myself anymore :)
Burritos Don't Need Meat to be Tasty
#1 Good Brown Rice and Black Beans make the world go round. Seriously. This burrito had so much flavor you would want to kick your mom right in the face. (my dad even said how amazing the beans tasted) The beans were Sol Food inspired and tasted just as good from all the garlic and olive.
-Black beans heated up with 4 garlic cloves and 4 sliced olives
-Brown rice and a nice warm Wheat Tortilla
-Tomato and Avocado and some Salt n' Peppa
Broccoli and Salad to go with
-Broccoli, more of the Black Beans, Salad
-Hummus and Tabouli (are too good)
Using the Bourbon Vanilla Whey Powder from yesterday was so good I had to do it again. This time with Raspberries, which didn't sweeten things enough so I added some of the dark chocolate chips I got to make peppermint bark with. Cherry Raspberry Choco Chip Theme:
-Dark Choco Chips
Turkey Club and Lemon Olive Salad
The thanksgiving left overs continue? I still have two containers of cranberry sauce which I enjoy all the time! That and #2 Pastrami turkey from the deli section makes for the best sando ever.
-Pastrami turkey, wheat loaf, Hummus, and cranberry sauce
-Salad leftovers, supplemented with olives
-Lemon, Olive Oil, and Hummus to dress
Little time this morning before a math marathon (Honors Physics and AB Calc...). #3 When you don't have the time to let muesli sit for the oats to get soft, using soymilk works much better than yogurt. Raspberry Persimmon Cinnamon Fun!
