Once again wasn't going to repeat blog something I didn't make, but the Lebanese lady at the TC farmers market was even nicer this time! She gave me a dollar off the already cheap price, extra Hummus, a Mamoul Cookie, and a bit of her special energy bars to try. No purple cabbage this time, but it was with Naan instead of Pita, and the Tabouleh was made with Quinoa. The cookie was delightful, especially for being sugarless/butterless/eggless, just the way I like. Kind of like a shortbread cookie with yummy nutty date filling. Some variation is nice and I may try to make a quinoa tabouleh. Also hard to get over her Falafel! #2 Best in Marin.Clean and Good
Sometimes you have to go with the good old basics for simple but elegant tastes. #3 Apples are way easier to digest when cooked a bit. I can't eat 'em otherwise.
-Thick Oatmeal, Apple and Cinnamon cooked in
-Soymilk, Almonds, Dried Bing Cherries
