A Seriously New Frontier
If you remember this post, then you know where this comes from. A mashup of Chicken Long Rice and Ahi Poke. First time preparing Ahi Tuna and Glass Noodles (Bean Threads). It was tasty, but I will be dialing it in soon. Enjoyed with some Oriental Braised Vegetables. It was a little bland at first with just a hint of ginger, but then I remembered I bought a contained of Sushi Ginger and threw some of that in, which made it really come alive. and a lil' soy sauce (little ashamed...)
-Glass Noodles, Caramelized Purple Onions, and Ahi Tuna
-Sesame Seeds, Crushed Ginger, Ginger Powder, Garlic Powder, Sushi Ginger
-Bok Choy, Broccoli, Mushrooms
-Ginger powder, Olive Oil, Vegetable Broth
Just a Salad
Turned out more impressive and eye-appealing than I anticipated. #2 Never underestimate the power of a nice mix of vegetables. Almond butter and Garbanzos for protein and brown rice for carbohydrates!-Mixed Greens, Tomato, Cucumber, Onion, Carrot, Garbanzo Beans
-Brown Rice, Almond Butter
-Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil
Muesli On The Go
Despite MLK Day, I had to eat on the go due to a college interview. Little different this morning though, Soy Yogurt and a Pear! #3 Lemon and Pear make a great PAIR!
-My Muesli
-Soy Yogurt, Lemon
-Pear, Strawberry
