All About Bison

This is truly 'pasta' done right. Similar to my Newman's experience except with Canned Fire Roasted Tomatoes. To clarify, buffalo only exists in Africa, everything in North America is actually a Bison, and you can't get corn fed so your safe on that front. You'll just most likely have to pay for it (like $10/lb).
Just like standard delicious Tomato Basil Garlic Pasta with the Garlic and Onion coming through strong, but mixed up with notes of creamy coconut oil and squash flavored pasta. Bison is naturally a bit leaner than Cow.
I couldn't stop adding things and they were all worth it:
  • Thyme, Basil, Garlic Powder, Pepper
  • Garlic and Onions (sautéed, then added herbs/bison and then tomato)
  • Baby Carrots
  • Sushi Seaweed (Nori)
  • Coconut Oil
  • Steamed Broccoli/Asparagus
  • 1/2 Large Can Fire Roasted Tomato
  • 1/2 Pound Ground Bison
  • 1 Spaghetti Squash, baked at 400º for 1 Hour
Within the pasta it's tough to taste the difference with Bison but on it's own you can tell it tastes leaner and more gamey/earthy. I like.

I'll also leave you with a delicious meal I had at my favorite Marin restaurant, Fish.
The Saigon Salmon Sandwich on a salad instead!
The flavors in this are so strong, salty and gingery and a little sweet on top of an already delicious salmon.
Side of Braised Rainbow Carrots
Simple high quality carrots with tasty Olive Oil and Herbs. Sweet but Savory.
